SBA Loan Calculator — 7(a) and 504 Monthly Payments

Free SBA loan calculator: monthly payment and total interest on a 7(a) loan over 10 to 25 years, plus a 504 calculator that splits your project into the bank loan, CDC portion and down payment.

The point of this calculator is the last line. SBA money takes 30–45 days and pays you back for the wait many times over on a large amount. If the deal genuinely cannot wait, the right move is a bridge with no prepayment penalty and a refinance into the SBA loan — not abandoning the cheap money.

SBA 504 loan calculator: how a 504 project is split

A 504 loan is not one loan. The project — usually a building or long-life equipment — is financed in three pieces: a bank or other lender takes about 50% in first position, a Certified Development Company (CDC) funds up to 40% through an SBA-backed debenture with a fixed rate on a 10, 20 or 25-year term, and you put in at least 10%. The down payment rises to 15% for a business under two years old or a special-purpose property, and to 20% when both apply. Enter your project below to see each piece and the two payments you would actually make.

Rates are placeholders for you to overwrite with your lender's and the CDC's current numbers — not quotes.

SBA Loan Calculator: straight answers

How do I calculate an SBA loan payment?
SBA loans amortize like any fully amortizing loan: payment = amount × monthly rate ÷ (1 − (1 + monthly rate)−months). Enter your amount, your offered rate and the term above and the calculator does it, including total interest.
What is the monthly payment on a $500,000 SBA loan?
At an illustrative 10.5% rate it is about $6,747 a month over 10 years, or about $4,721 over 25 years. Your real payment depends on the rate your lender offers.
Does this work as an SBA 504 loan calculator?
Yes — use the 504 project split tool on this page. It divides the project into the bank's 50%, the CDC's portion and your down payment, and calculates both monthly payments.
Are SBA fees included?
No. SBA charges an upfront guarantee fee on most 7(a) loans and CDC/SBA fees on 504 debentures; they are commonly financed into the loan. Ask your lender for the fee figure and add it to the amount to see its effect on the payment.
Is Goldspur an SBA lender?
No. Goldspur Capital is a referral partner; applications are placed with ROK Financial and its network of lending partners, who make every credit decision. Applying costs nothing, and nothing on this page is a quote or approval.
